Review on 💨 Enhanced AIRCAT 4338 8-Inch Composite Reversible for Improved Air Tool Performance by Timothy Weems

I had to replace an IR drill I had for 15 years because I loaned it to a colleague and he destroyed it. I just bought a Nitrocat impact wrench, by the way the best impact wrench I've ever owned and decided to try the Aircat with a drill as I love the Nitrocat so much. Great solution, the drill works as good as it looks. Feels good in the hand and is lighter than my old IR. To be clear folks, IR tools are great and I miss my drill. But there's no harm in trying something new. Aircat has a really wide range of air tools and you can't go wrong with one of these great tools. This drill is just as good as the IR and you pay less for it which gives you an opportunity to buy another tool and I think that's a win-win. The time is now and I'm not sure if it's just my drill bit or has something to do with the drill chuck. It's been done twice, and I'll probably change the drill chuck pair of channel locks so he gets lost. The second issue is that the drill seems to have lost some of its power, which isn't entirely a positive, but it does seem to get bogged down and doing things it shouldn't have a problem with. I will contact Aircat to see if there might be an issue. However, it's still a great exercise and does what I want it to do. 04/30/2014 Well, the drill has lost most of its power and has really become a paperweight. Coming back to the IR drill, I cannot understand the problems that have been encountered with this drill. The chuck engages so tightly that you have to use channel locks to loosen it, it has no power and the bits just spin in the chuck. The biggest problem is that it's not even a year old and I can't use it for anything other than work orders. Unfortunately, Air Cat has some good tools, but this isn't one of them. Some have written a previous review saying it happened to him right away, at least I lasted a few months. It's more like port freight at 10 times the price. I came here, I had to know, live and learn better.
