I've been using them for a while now. I haven't had a single error burning these discs. I use the 3rd spindle. For those who had problems, please note that this is a DVD+R, not a DVD-R. They are not the same, they are two different standards. Most of the new DVD drives that burn support both standards for blank media, as does mine. However, some older discs have either -R or +R and will not write to the wrong media. Based on the fact that I haven't had a single failure and some have claimed to have ever had a drive failure, I suspect they had an incompatible DVD drive on those occasions. After burning, -R-, +R- or prerecorded DVD should be playable on any DVD drive, but the burning process is trickier. Pros: Very good value for a dual-layer writable (8.5GB) +R disc. There hasn't been a single error on any of the DVDs I've recorded. An improvement could be made: the spindle cover that holds blank DVDs could be a bit more durable. I dropped the spindle just two feet and it broke the tabs holding the lid in place. The discs were not damaged, only the spindle cover stopped snapping. It doesn't matter much.
