I ordered this after receiving an ad for a more expensive competitor. Thought I'd start with the cheaper version to see if it would work with my laptop. So far, so good! 1. The picture is excellent.2. He is light. Being a nomad these days is a big plus.3. It is not attached to the laptop - it is separated by a "stand" connected via the USB.4 connector. I can also connect my phone or iPad to it for a better view. At a very reasonable price, I thought this would be a good entry-level version, but maybe that's all I need for the foreseeable future.
