Review on 🔌 Cable Coupler Adapter: Enhanced Connectivity from Your Cable Store by Adam Rogers

The product is well made and designed to work with two db9 or rs232 connectors, but it is a straight adapter where some serial cables have a crossover or require modem-type null connectors. Well I can't refuse because I bought the wrong part so 4 stars for what works but it didn't work on my scanner USB cable. Uniden scanners come with a cable with one end proprietary and the other end is an RS232 jack. But I found the 2nd cable that came with the GPS unit for the scanner and it was the connector. So I bought this adapter to maybe connect RS232 cables and it didn't work. However, a Uniden scanner cable with a female end and a standard USB-RS232 connector will work just fine. So, with that said, it's 4 stars, it's well made, but it's only worth a dollar or less at most, lol. So I'm deducting a star for the price.
