I love this item. This makes practicing fast shots easy and accessible anywhere. It takes a little getting used to. The person controlling it needs it tight, with the ball to the end and no twisted ropes. Helps when you hit the height of the batter's hitting zone. It should be a very smooth motion, and it's best if the end is connected to something solid without deforming (it's better to be in contact with wood than a fence). The batsman will likely need to hit the top of the ball to avoid snagging on the ropes. Once the batter hits, if the operator quickly grabs their hands, the ball should fly most of the way back, making practice easier and faster. Even if this thing breaks I plan on buying a new one to replace it, it's been a great product. At baseball fields there are usually a few people who ask and watch because they've never seen one. Where we live, our houses are very close together and this product allows us to practice without fear of replacing a neighbor's window.
