Review on 🚛 Bully CR-605L Universal Truck Hitch Step with LED Brake Lights, Chrome - Fits 2” Hitch Receivers by Antonio Liberty

Purchased this for my 2010 Ford Escape 3 years ago as it gave me slightly better access to the top rack, the chrome matches my other chrome aftermarket. parts and I liked the LED. I have never had any peeling or poor LED lighting issues with this product throughout its lifetime. The rubber caps are loose and last winter I noticed they were starting to pull loose from the ends. This did not appear to be the benefit of this product and one had to look closely to notice it. -1 star for that. A few weeks ago I was in a rear-end collision with a Chevy Cheyenne 1500. That small step took the brunt of the impact and the impact caused the aluminum to buckle around my hitch. I had to use a pry bar to bend it and pull it out for a replacement. Substitute? Why? Because I give credit to this little contraption for actually reducing the damage it does when I escape. Even the body shop guys were impressed with how little damage was done to my bumper compared to the truck that hit me. My hitch was undamaged, and even with high dealer prices, the total damage to my truck was $1,054. It could have been done a little better. could have been made of thicker aluminum, but this is not car armor, but a pleasant comfort and an additional brake light. Can't wait for a replacement.
