I read reviews on the internet. I totally understand when people say the lines aren't sharp like a laser since the tip melts the plastic instead of cutting it. I'd say these comments are correct, but if you take your time I think it can actually make beautiful, intricate product stencils that don't have to be sharp, cut, perfect lines. I made an intricate leaf and flower stencil for my friend and it turned out great. I can't confirm how long this product lasts, as I've only used it once but I think that if you make sure you don't use the product for a long period of time it seems to be of good quality to last a long time. Overall very happy with it. He cut two fused pieces of laminate with no problem to compare the material I used.
