The biggest problem is that the keyway won't accept the key about 25% of the time. The keyway does not have a flap that prevents water and dirt from entering the toggle switches. I have an outside mailbox so weather is an issue - if your mailbox isn't in a secure, fenced area then this lock probably won't suit you.
