Fantastic for pet hair and only $100!

Bissell's Cleanview Swivel Rewind Bagless Pet Vacuum Cleaner impresses in homes with pets, and you can't beat the price. There are so many things I love about this vacuum that it's hard to know where to begin. I have 6 cats, 3 dogs and a lot of dirty people at home. I have to vacuum daily to keep people from getting hairballs so I was excited to try this vacuum. I used to rely on the Shark Navigator for daily cleaning and the bulkier Kenmore for weekly deep cleaning and vacuuming of curtains and other areas above the floor. The Shark has excellent suction and is light enough to be carried to all rooms, but it has a rather narrow brush bar so more passes are required, and it doesn't have built-in storage space for accessories and the bin isn't very large. . This Bissell is still lightweight but has a very wide brushroll so vacuuming takes less time. The brush roll is great for cleaning pet hair. Really fantastic. But it's not just pet hair - it's great at picking up fine dust and dirt - the shark isn't very good at that. The plastic casing around the cleaning roller is also transparent, so you can easily see if there is a lot of hair or fibers wrapped around it. This vacuum cleaner is also very easy to pivot, making vacuuming around furniture much easier. It maneuvers almost effortlessly. The trash can is clean and has a huge capacity. You can easily see when it's full and just detach it with a push of a button, throw it in the bin, push another button and it will be emptied from the bottom. Your hands never touch the contents. It also opens at the top to unclog or clean/replace the filter. There is a height adjustment knob that lets you choose from 5 different height settings and works equally well on carpet and hard floors. I like it more than the automatic height adjustment on my other vacuum because in my experience it never works that well. The cable is 27 feet long, so that's a long length. Bissell also offers this model with a retractable cord for about $30 more. https://www.amazon.com/BISSELL-Cleanview-Upright-Bagless-22543/dp/B07FJ4N2S7/ This vacuum cleaner I'm reviewing is the exact same model but with a hand held wind cord. Personally, I like the self-retracting cord and it costs an extra $30 for me, but if you don't mind reeling the cord back onto the vacuum when you're done, this is a great buy as the vacuum works very well. .I also like that the power button is bright red and can be pressed with your foot. It is easy to distinguish from other buttons. You get 5 Jets and Hallelujah, all saved onboard. Attachments are only useful if you can find them when you need them, which is why I love the onboard storage. You get an extension stick, a long grout tool, a dusting brush, an angled pet hair tool, and a pet turbo eraser. These are not particularly high quality attachments, but they work perfectly. The turbo eraser is great for cleaning furniture and pet beds, and the angled pet hair tool is a lot more handy than I thought. some. Because it's not a tear-off vacuum, it's not very practical for cleaning stairs. The hose is a bit short in my opinion so you still have to carry the vacuum up the stairs to clean it. Since my stairs are made of wood, I use a small handheld vacuum for this job and it's a lot easier and quicker. Assembly is also easy. Just two screws to attach the handle and you're ready to vacuum. You need to loosen 6 screws to remove the hair removal brush roll wrapped around it and replace the strap. I wish it had a flap door instead like the other vacuum I have because I have several long haired family members so I have to do this task quite often. That minor disappointment aside, I would definitely recommend this vacuum, especially for pets. Vacuum cleaners wash no worse than more expensive vacuum cleaners, but the price is very reasonable.
