Everything is fine considering everyone's opinion.
This is a great gift. It really improves the quality of most wines. It filters slower, but well, that's the way it should be. Without knowing the details of making filters, I can't say they should be cheaper. This is the only loss in this purchase and future use. At the end of the day, after filtering, it holds 2 bottles of wine. I would use 1 filter for this and then swap it out for other wines.
