Review on 🌑️ NGK/NTK Coolant Temp Sensor EF0089 (73917) - Precise Temperature Monitoring for Optimal Engine Performance by Jim Velasco

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Low readings from the coolant sensor prevented the reader fan from turning on. The coolant is very hot

This sensor showed a low level. When the radiator fan comes on, the temp was almost red (as measured by the radiator temp gauge). It also turns off the radiator fan at above normal temperatures where it should have turned on. Very dangerous. We bought an original sensor from a Subaru dealership ($40) and got the coolant temp back to normal. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $15 and get it from the dealer.
