Review on Enhanced Spark Ignition Switch by General Electric - WB24X10091 by Brandon Selpasoria

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Replica of original

I have put off replacing the spark ignition switch on our GE Monogram range (ZDP48N4GH2SS). Before you begin, be sure to turn off the switches on the stove or unplug it from the outlet. With a Torx T15 screwdriver and needle nose pliers, the job was done in 15 minutes. The hardest part was the beginning. Remove all control knobs and place them in the correct order or mark them in the same place for replacement. Using a T15 screwdriver, unscrew the 4 screws holding the front panel - lower the panel to look behind and find the switch to be replaced. Note: There is a small crescent shaped clip that holds the ignition switch in place - rotating the clip 90 degrees removes it instantly. Disconnect the cable bushings from the connector on the switch using a pair of thin pliers. Remove the switch and install a new one - reverse these instructions to reinstall and you're done.
