Great Machine Learning Platform For An Amazing Application
I like how easy it is for anyone with basic coding skills to get started using this software.
The way you train these models takes quite some time if you want something really good but not too slow at least. This was great when I used to work as an intern doing research where having access to data such as news articles from all over the world would have been impossible without the use of Stanford's NLP. It has helped me tremendously in my field by analyzing text documents so I could find patterns in them.
Pros
- Easy interface
- Large amount pre trained word vectors available, including ones trained specifically within biomedical domains.
- Lots more features than just tokenization (tokenizers) + POS tagging/chunking+ dependency parsing etc., which are often bundled together into one program that can be run directly outta box!
- Good documentation included online tutorials; there even seems
