This deck sounds fantastic.

This deck sounds amazing. for those who say it doesn't sound as good as it came from the factory. You must master deck management. Built-in DSP with adjustable dynamic volume and bass, 30-band graphic EQ, individual high and low pass filters, and front and rear channel delays are all you need. I have slightly changed my settings in my BMW E90 320D. I had a professional system in my car so I replaced the front and rear speakers with 4" x 4" JBL coaxial speakers. 2 x 8" Earthquake SWS subwoofers under the seat and 2 x 12" Infinity subwoofers in an E90 custom enclosure. It is powered by a 1100 watt 5 channel amplifier. This is how I connected my 4" speakers. Left front and rear speakers on channel 1 (left) of the amp. Right front and rear speakers on channel 2 (right) of the amp. I have the high pass filter on the front outputs (channels 1 and 2) set to 180Hz on the head unit. I left the low pass filter off for the front channels. I disabled the crossovers in the amplifier for channels 1 to 4 and set the bass crossover frequency to a maximum of 150 Hz. Now 2 SWS subwoofers are connected to the channels 3 and 4 of the amplifier connected. I set the high pass filter of the rear output (channel 3 and channel 4) on the main unit to 80 Hz. I set the low pass filter for the rear channels to 1.2 kHz (cannot be lower). So can I switch between 4" speakers and underseat subwoofers to get the perfect balance without having to use EQ. Then 12" subwoofers are used et to add thunder. I chose 1.9ms delay for the front and rear speakers and you can hear the "hole" caused by not all the speakers being in the same position and the voice coils being aligned disappearing. A little tweaking of the EQ to smooth out bumps at the crossover points brings it all together. Sounds amazing. I can play from trap to jazz and basically just have to adjust the subwoofer output with the volume control on the center console. I added a 4-port USB hub to each of the USB cables. i have a carplay usb cable with an extension to the center console and here i have 2 x 64 usb sticks with my media and another usb cable goes to the glove compartment. The dash cam's front camera is connected to a hub via this cable and I have additional connections available in both places for other things. I have to say that EONON tech support team is bad, I asked them 15+ questions and they answered all of them. For example my car is right hand drive so the door indicator was wrong for me. There are password protected menus for settings you only need to change once. You won't read it anywhere in the manual, but as soon as you ask a question, they'll get back to you shortly. Currently . What I don't like about the deck. (not much, but) (1) The deck should have 4 to 6 GB of RAM. This would make it a little more responsive when running multiple apps, but the truth is that once installed you will mostly be using around 2 apps on the go. It could also be 64 gigabytes of internal storage. It doesn't have an SD card slot so I bought USB hubs and these Samsung metal 64GB sticks work fine. (2) I was gifted an OBD Bluetooth dongle and it works, but I also have an OBDLink MX+ OBD2 Bluetooth scanner for iPhone, Android, and Windows, a $100 Bluetooth dongle, and it works at all do not pair with the main unit. I also have Bimmer Geeks Protool diagnostic software and use it with a USB cable plugged into a USB hub and it works great with the program. I'm waiting for the Bimmer Geeks bluetooth dongle to see if it works. (3) I like that the music player can access EQ and DSP directly, but it could work better with access to the folder structure on USB sticks. (little things). (4) On my previous Eonon head unit, when I used Google Maps, it could be set to mute the music when making an announcement, or it could add its own announcement to the music without muting the music to switch. That's how I prefer it as the constant muting of the music gets really annoying. I asked them about it but the solution they gave me only adjusted the meter level but still muted the music. I'm not sure if you understood me correctly or not. If anyone out there knows how to do this. Please post it here (this is what annoys me the most. This is my third Eonon main unit and I had to update it to get the latest OS and although I see someone complaining and saying it's not Android 10 , I'm kinda fine I need this to play music and run the latest apps and as far as I know most new apps work on anything Android 7 and up so don't let this info discourage you To mount the device , you need to buy 2 1/2" screws. As most people, except Eonon, have found, the screws that come with them can work with the bottom holes but not the top ones.
