We paid $330.00 for our first one!
I came home from a week-long trip, it was cool at home. No heat! holiday weekend! They called a plumber, at night, on a bank holiday weekend, they looked for him to come directly, it was 21 degrees outside, 33 degrees inside. Long story short, I saw him replace our thermocouple in 20 minutes and bill us for hundreds of dollars. I now stock three of these thermocouples next to the oven and have since (8 years) had to replace two. done with basic tools and can be a little cheaper than calling a plumber!
