It saved me some time and work and I wish I had bought it a long time ago. The only thing I don't like about it is that the top doesn't snap so it can slip if you're not careful. I've never had a slip while cutting, but the lid came off a couple of times when I tried to pick it up. My attempts to catch him naturally resulted in vegetables everywhere. Since then I've learned to lift it slowly, using both hands. This can be an irritant, but not the main reason. It's still worth using and it's a great little slicer/chopper. I haven't used all the attachments yet, so I'll probably update after using more.
