Review on Enhance Your Engine Performance with Delphi GN10327 Ignition Coil by Tom Ball

New car! in ignition parts

02 The Jag X-Type has performed very poorly for the past year or more. A year ago I replaced the spark plugs and intake manifold gaskets but lowered the price and didn't make coils. I "thought" there were other issues causing rough running and poor performance. Since we're giving this to our twins who just turned 16, I figured I'd better do what I can to make it work halfway decent, so I decided to make coils and brake pads, clean the mass airflow sensor, and clean the sensor abs to try get rid of this nasty DC system error crap. But after that, they can just ride him until he dies. After changing the coils I regret giving them to the kids lol. I forgot how fast this little car was when it was going right. The engine runs smooth as silk, no hesitation, not a splutter or spatter, and fuel economy is actually down to 28mpg from what was around 16mpg lol. Only problem is I overtightened the distributor screw and broke the damn thing in half, set the torque to 90 instead of 7 so it was fast. Fixing that is my project for this weekend lol.
