If you want this for video ONLY, it works (albeit without VRR, but no stars for it like the product description says). I can get 120Hz. UHD, 10bit HDR from this dongle. sound problem. I reliably only get stereo to work. 5.1, 7.1 when I get it out, it usually comes out with a channel change (middle comes out from the back right) and some channels don't work at all. Dolby ATMOS, which used to work without an adapter, doesn't work at all. Windows turns it on, but the sound out is just a sharp fast click/buzz. Connecting a second HDMI for audio also doesn't work as I only have one TV and Windows requires the HDMI port to have an active display port before even outputting audio to that port. Windows mirroring disables HDR (probably because I don't have an HDR capable monitor on the HDMI port which I want to use "audio only". So I really need an adapter that can do what is advertised, 4k120/ HDR instead of ruining the sound.
