Finally 4k 120 on my RTX2080

After ordering and returning many cables I finally found one that works as advertised. This Cable Matters works great. I am very satisfied with the quality and price of this adapter. If I could give more stars I would. Good product.

Worked for a whole 2 minutes, after that it started to flicker and there is no signal when switching the display to Windows10

Worked for several minutes and decided not to work. When it worked I got 4k@120 but no HDR. The construction of the product was very weak, seemed to be of poor quality. I hear noises from inside with slight movement, which is not a good sign. Maybe I was unlucky and caught a defect. I will be returning the item and hope it worked so I can connect my 3090 to my Oled in the bedroom as my HDMI port is already in use. Please control your product quality better in future, thanks!

Transfers 4k 60Hz perfectly from my GPU

For some reason, my GPU doesn't have any HDMI slots, just a display port. I wanted to connect my new GPU to my new OLED TV so I could try playing games on it. So I went to Amazon and first bought a basic DisplayPort to HDMI adapter and gave it a try. Well, to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. The connection was slow, they got disconnected and the full video was lost for more than 5 seconds at a time. That's when I realized that you really need a good converter because it's like

I bought this adapter to connect a Lenovo laptop with an HDMI port to a Lenovo monitor with a Display port. Well, it was late at night and I didn't register a ONE-DIRECTIONAL statement in the listing. Yes these people are not kidding and the cable will not work if you plug the DP end of this adapter into the DP port on the monitor and connect an HDMI cable to your HDMI source and to this adapter. nope! It is used to connect a DP source to an HDMI monitor. So I plugged in a USB-C hub with a DPโ€ฆ

Audio output is very poor

If you want this for video ONLY, it works (albeit without VRR, but no stars for it like the product description says). I can get 120Hz. UHD, 10bit HDR from this dongle. sound problem. I reliably only get stereo to work. 5.1, 7.1 when I get it out, it usually comes out with a channel change (middle comes out from the back right) and some channels don't work at all. Dolby ATMOS, which used to work without an adapter, doesn't work at all. Windows turns it on, but the sound out is just a sharp fast
