We took some measurements before attempting to install. This cat didn't like the idea of a leash at all, he jerked the leash every now and then. I took it out and added two T5 plastic latches on the top scale to hold things in place and was finally able to attach it for a walk on the front porch and after a few installs it became something easier. I found he was more comfortable in it after leaving the vest inside for a few hours. So after a quick visit to the porch, I untied the leash and let it roam the house for a few hours before removing my vest. Happy with the result.
