Review on SportDOG Brand Gonia Special Whistle by Javon Kulik

I was very excited to start whistle training with my dog and researched quite a few whistles before settling on this one. The whistle itself is VERY loud which is nice - and carries well. It's not too high or too low to get lost in the wind/rain, but the downside is that it can pierce the ears of people nearby. So I didn't want to use it for "training" or training in the park - I don't want to bother anyone haha. I'm also a little disappointed that the ball is made of hard cork inside - it got wet inside when it rained heavily and it didn't seem to work. I don't know if it's just me or if it's usually like this. The whistle is great for the price. I've used it many times so far taking the dog to my parents 5 acre property and I'm not sure if it scares the dog or if he intuitively knows but it will remember when I explode . . It has a really strong ring to attach it to and the orange color makes it stand out making it easy to find in my purse or coat pocket.
