I make crème brûlée every Thanksgiving. This year it will be easier since I have this set. These were my molds in a casserole dish with water so they tended to splatter a bit and the molds didn't stay in place. Now I have no problem rearranging or moving the shapes and this is just the right size pot for 6 shapes. Because the molds are a few inches above the water, there is less chance of burning or uneven baking. Everything seems to be very well done. Non-stick coating in case you want to use the pan for something else, durable stainless steel, a well-welded grid and 6 very nice shapes. Easy to clean and holds up well.
