I was a top tap dancer in college but haven't danced since. Now my 6 and 9 year old granddaughters want to learn to dance so I had to buy new shoes as my pretty silver ones no longer fit, although the kids love to play in them. I am wearing size 8 shoes that I ordered. They fit perfectly. I like an elastic band and bow closure, like the younger girls' shoes. They are well padded which I like as I have foot issues and find it helpful. I don't have to put in any extra bets. The taps make a pleasant noise on the wooden floor.
