I used them to hook up an extra power supply/booster. Using these for power and RCA for the audio signal I was able to box mount the amp and have an easily removable subwoofer/box combo. As for the connector:* The connectors provide a solid connection, yet are easy to disassemble* The contacts snap into the plastic housing with a firm click, no worry about them coming loose. They are held in my metal holders. *You will need either a *VERY* powerful soldering iron or a small propane torch to solder the wires to the terminals. They don't crimp. I used a small propane torch, used a vise to clamp the contact, filled a cup of solder and dipped the wire in the liquid solder. It worked very well. Overall I'm very happy with it. They are very similar to the connectors we use on our FIRST robotics competition robots and none of them failed.
