I have a medium weight stretch belt that I love to wear, but during the day it tends to loosen. So I figured one click would solve the problem. I found the latches to be just the right size and worked great in solving the problem. The attached sheet contains a series of pictures which are instructions. One thing that wasn't clear was which side of the base to use for stamping and which side to attach the latch. I think the smooth convex surface is for transom mounting and the other side for punching, I used a standard hammer to work on the cement pad on the back porch. A set of small taps worked great. Did exactly what I wanted. I don't know how well this works on thick skin but I would give it a try. Everything else should be great.
