Although these climbing aids are designed for lifting furniture, they can be used here for non-furniture applications. I have plastic portable drainers on either side of my ceramic sink. They are made of hard plastic and do not have non-slip feet. Therefore, they slip a lot and cause inconvenience. I tried using strips of non slip carpet backing but it didn't work very well. Then I saw these. The depth of the bottom of the back of the draining board is exactly 1" so they fit at a higher angle at the back and prevent the board from slipping at the slightest provocation. double-sided tape for this purpose, available at home centers and elsewhere, will do the job. (I tried gluing them but didn't work at all, miracle glue or not.) Just attach the tape to the riser and press into place. Since you want them to go in the curved corner, use scissors to cut the tape on the outside of the riser. Holds up great. And that tape is rated for 10lb mirrors, but for that you just want them to stay firmly in place, and they do. An added bonus is that if you decide to replace such drainage panels, the risers can be reused with new ones. Ribbon. See attached photos.
