I was surprised by how nice this was. It completely collapses, which is great for storage but can instantly become a secure place for your pet. I got it not for cats (though once I saw it, I may use it for my cats) but for doves that I adopted and may need to move on those scary Red Flag days, when fire danger is highest. I was very glad that I got it and may get another, to eliminate a cardboard carrier. PS: there are sturdy cardboard carriers and ones that have a seam where it folds. Do not ever get the latter. A cat can rip that seam and get out in twenty seconds or less. I've seen it happen, and the box was brand new, right from the store.
