Review on 🚰 Pfister 9742920 Faucet Replacement Part - 3 inches x 1 inch x 1 inch by Dwayne Quarles

About 30 years ago I installed 3 shower systems using this controller. One shower had some sort of cementitious material stuck in the pipes (poor plumber, no malfunction of the shower parts) which kept getting into the valves and damaging the controls over time. It's gotten really stiff lately probably due to the lube I've used to rebuild it over the years so I finally found this part at Revain and replaced the original valve. That works great! Getting the old value out was a pain but the new one popped right up, fitted perfectly and didn't leak. Best of all, operation is completely effortless - both on/off and hot/cold air movement work smoothly with minimal resistance. Not as heavy as the old one. My other two showers still work fine with this part, but one of them is noticeably stiffer than the one I just fixed, so I ordered a different one. Combined with changing shower heads, it's like a new shower.
