I have two dogs and I have this leash for hands-free running with a dog or for walking a dog. Trailer hitch and both attached to me. My dogs are the Whippet and the Italian Greyhound; They are fast. A few months later my whippet's bag detached and flew away and it was such a scary experience that I am now afraid to take her anywhere that she is NOT attached to me. This leash is wonderful and versatile AND looks cute! A lot of people have complimented this leash and asked where I got it from. It's nice to have a less sturdy or sporty leash when my own clothes are a bit dressier or they wear their pretty collars, but I want them to go together. I mostly wear this type of messenger leash and it works great for it. The rings that run the length of the leash are very comfortable and make it easy to do whatever you want. Leather products look very aesthetic and give you something to touch. My ONLY complaint is that without a handle you are forced to hold on to the rope and if your dogs are as heavy as mine it can fray a bit on the arm. However, this isn't enough to stop me from using a leash. Definitely recommend! Supports the weight of my strong 35 lb draft dog along with my fast and strong 12 lb draft dog. I'll probably replace it when this one wears out. Love the neutral color scheme!
