I love this leash but for a dog that chews it's not that strong. Also not suitable for the beach. If sand gets into one of the hooks, it can no longer be opened. My husband had to work very hard to get it off his dog after he rolled in the sand.

This is a great alternative to using two dog leashes or using a separate martingale attached to a leash. It's easy to make friends with dogs. Dogs tend to feel affection for another dog and don't try to pull in two different directions. Well made and very strong. There are individual leads from the same company and they are very well done too.

If your dogs are anything like mine, do yourself a favor and think twice. It was too easy for her to wrap around my knee so I couldn't move, which was a big problem in the middle of our walk. You see, this has more to do with my dogs misbehaving on leashes than with the leash itself. It's a good leash and I wanted to love it. It is durable, attractive and versatile. It held up well to my two 65lb bowls, but unfortunately not for us.

I bought this leash for my Old English Sheepdog. I walk a lot and he comes with me. I love the length because if Doug gets tired I can take him off my waist and give him a few extra feet to get behind me. I also needed a leash with a hook at both ends for when I have to run to the grocery store or when we're out on a hike (anytime I need to tie it down for a few minutes). I am SO disappointed in this leash. I love it, at least that's what I wanted. With the versatility it offers and the cool design I've been very happy to use it on long hikes etc with my 40lb 11 month old baby. I have been using this type of leash for over a year now and am so excited when I saw this fancier version I had to order it.
