I bought this product because I always keep the door and window in my room closed and because I was looking at studies that elevated CO2 levels can impair brain function (mainly decision making). Curious to know what the levels of my room are after sitting in it for hours, I bought this. It turns out I easily got it to 1300ppm in 2 hours which resulted in a significant drop in performance. I love being able to control and manipulate the CO2 levels in my room and it also comes with a digital thermometer and humidity sensor which is cool. too much of. I will note that it can get crazy with CO2 readings when first turned on (mine went from 300 to 1600 in 30 seconds, then to 500) but stabilizes. My only issue with this product, although a small one, is that it doesn't have clear error indicators. For example, is it exactly 589 ppm in my room, or is it +/- 20 or something like that? It would also be nice to know how it works so I can tweak it to eliminate false or inaccurate readings. Otherwise a good product. I'll probably buy more for my house when I graduate college and move.
