Review on 📡 Metra 44-US07R: Versatile Top or Side Mount Rubber Antenna for Superior Reception by Eliot Wahl

I've been trying to install this on a 2000 Toyota 4Runner all day. The problem is that it's not like most antenna mounts, which have a threaded part that comes out of a hole in the body. It had a small Phillips screw holding the bracket to the base and the design makes it almost impossible to put the pieces together. Also, I doubt the screw will hold the mount tight enough to the base to last very long. This is not how car antenna mounts have been designed for the last several decades, and it's definitely not that good.
