but to me it looks like a steel muffler
If you think you're buying a stainless steel muffler, you're not. It might be an inferior stainless steel, but it looks like a steel muffler to me. I sent the first one back thinking it must be wrong. I attached a magnet to it and it sticks everywhere, my SS sink isn't magnetic so why that SS silencer? I need a silencer, so I'll keep it to myself.
