This was a great replacement for my old latch that finally stopped working on my Tundra 01. Can't comment on durability as I've only just installed it, but can't tell what the difference is between this latch and my old one. As others have pointed out, the replacement was very easy, including moving the lock core. I would recommend spraying all exposed moving parts like the lock core and latch with some WD-40. This made everything work like new again. I've attached a picture of the replacement next to the old OEM part. Everything that used to be metal is also the new. Even though it was significantly cheaper than OEM, I couldn't tell any difference in quality.
