Review on RC Pet Products 53804001 Collection by Andrea Beavers

I would give this unit 5 stars apart from the major safety issue I encountered today. I love the color, feel and safety of the product and would happily go back and change my review. First, cats can run their entire body through any space that they can stick their head through. I knew it in theory, but today I happened to see it in action when my huge, shy cat ripped half of her harness in the blink of an eye. Luckily I was able to save her and bring her home. It's not a problem, I can't expect the harness to overcome cats' liquid properties. The problem is that what's easy to do in a moment of panic is a lot harder to do at home when you're calm. The problem is that she only got her leash halfway untied. It was stuck just behind her shoulders and wouldn't come off until she sucked in her stomach a little. She didn't. Nor was she interested in my idea of tightening the straps the way it was done. So she was stuck with this tight bandage around her chest and there was no way she could take it off without hurting her. My only option was to cut it off. She didn't like the idea either, but this time I put up with the bites. I just always thought that all of this could have been avoided if there had been a different buckle for the nape of the seat belt. There are two in the back, one spare in the front! Anyway, cats hate it when their heads get stuck in weird holes!
