Right out of the box I noticed terrible lens flare when photographing everything lit. This caused the photos to become garbage around the 15th photo after testing. I turned off the camera. When I turned it back on the lens clicked and stuck, wouldn't retract, the camera kept telling me to turn it off and on again. I used to have a P 900 and upgraded to a P 1000 which was a big disappointment so I figured the 950 would be a good compromise for 4K video. Unfortunately I will buy the P 900 again, won't buy another model, they keep removing features and adding other features rather than really upgrading the camera.
