Not as thick as most 4Ga wires.
It says it is a 4 ga cable (in the name and on the cable itself) but its diameter is 3/4 the diameter of all other 4- Ga cables I've used in the past. The overall diameter is slightly larger than most 8Ga wires. Other than that it's nice and flexible, well insulated and has performed great so far although I haven't put it under extreme stress.
