This product can protect the screen, but it's not what I was looking for. First, it's not tailored for the Garmin 66i. Second, the application process is very shoddy. After the back was removed, the screen protector (which is just a piece of thick plastic) curled up and was awkward to apply. Third, after application, many, many bubbles appear. It is impossible to extract. There are many better alternatives to this product. I found a good protective glass that fits the screen perfectly. I have to admit that I skimmed the instructions. I still have a feeling it wouldn't change this rating.
