Warm and beautiful. We went to the zoo on a cold and rainy day and our kid was wearing rubber boots with these socks. There were several large puddles and part of the fun of a rainy day is playing in the puddles. a puddle was deep enough for water to get into her boots, and for the next few hours she wore rubber boots with wet wool socks, and her feet were warm and blister-free. I brought an extra pair of socks in case we needed some, but we figured she wouldn't mind wearing wellies. When we got back to the car we realized our mistake but we were so happy to find her fingers were warm to the touch and no blisters, no red spots. They were wet but great.
