I've come across a lot of PoE security cameras lately, so I think this technology is really gaining popularity. I don't know what other PoE devices are out there or what might come in the future, so I figured maybe I should get an injector that will provide more power when needed, just in case. I'm not sure if I made the right decision. On the one hand it works well and the build quality seems pretty good and I like the metal body. On the other hand, that's quite a lot, especially for a device with an output port. For a typical PoE camera, that's more than I need, and who knows when I might need something this powerful, so I might be better off getting a weaker, smaller device. Space isn't a big issue for me so I can take that into account, but if space is an issue for you and it's not ultra-light either, think about it before you buy this injector.
