Excellent performance and high performance!

Overall a pretty good product, feels very high quality. One thing I really appreciate is the power cord, it stays in, I had other network gear they just unplugged. Just make sure you insert it fully! I love the fact that it even comes with LED power indicators. Pros: - Nice metal body that dissipates heat - The power cord actually stays inside - High wattage making it flexible to power a variety of devices. - LED power consumption indicator. Cons: - None. beautiful!

Big and kinda heavy; may be overkill if you only need one PoE injector per camera

I've come across a lot of PoE security cameras lately, so I think this technology is really gaining popularity. I don't know what other PoE devices are out there or what might come in the future, so I figured maybe I should get an injector that will provide more power when needed, just in case. I'm not sure if I made the right decision. On the one hand it works well and the build quality seems pretty good and I like the metal body. Working with my ubiquiti unifi 6 lr

I was contacted to review this product after having had a less than excellent experience with the same company's 5 port gigabit PoE switch. This worked but resulted in data corruption only for the PoE device connected to it. This PoE injector is physically quite large but stays cool and has a built-in power supply (I don't like separate power supplies). Time will tell if this holds up, but so far everything seems fine. Excellent build quality and performance.

If you need POE, this injector will work reliably for many different types of installations. I find these standalone POE injectors to be more reliable over the long term than hubs, switches, or routers with built-in POE. Having POE outside of your switch, hub or router reduces heat build-up and also eliminates extra electrical fields inside. Also, you can replace the POU without changing other components. While not the cheapest injector I've ever used, it definitely does the job and the build quality is above average. I moved a Ubiquiti UAP-AC-HD wireless hotspot and it just wasn't practical for me to run ethernet from my PoE switch to the new hotspot destination, so I used this built-in one and was glad the hotspot lit up and started doing its job without any fuss. High quality 802.3af PoE adapter

I recently purchased Ubiquiti wireless devices that turn on instantly and operate on the 802.3af standard. At first I was a little concerned that this wouldn't help, but I was wrong. . It only took me a few minutes to set it up and run it, and after that I was ready to go. I've also tested it with Shoretel IP230 phones and Aruba wireless devices and had no issues with the flexible powering of the devices. . This is a great budget gigabit POE+ adapter.
