If you need POE, this injector will work reliably for many different types of installations. I find these standalone POE injectors to be more reliable over the long term than hubs, switches, or routers with built-in POE. Having POE outside of your switch, hub or router reduces heat build-up and also eliminates extra electrical fields inside. Also, you can replace the POU without changing other components. These gigabit injectors are made of metal components and dissipate heat well. They are strong and durable. I find them perfect for use with wireless access points, external antennas like IOTs and of course cameras. This smart injector also features LEDs that allow you to visually check and see the total current draw and power output being sent through the POE. I would recommend them for the excellent build quality and performance. They also have good value. 5 Stars.
