Great little radio I've had it for 2 years now I haven't had to buy new batteries I've used before using it for maybe 6 hours or more a day I live in the Sokal and need to orient it east to west to get the best indoor reception for AM stations. I paid 14.99 for mine, I wanted the black one but it was the cheapest. 2 or 3 hours at a time, at least once every two weeks. more info after 2 years of use due to low battery no reception 1 minute cranking gave me 1 hour of use before volume got very low, reception was still good and stable Clear. After 13 minutes the volume became too low and the engine had to be restarted. 1 more minute of running gave me 55 minutes of use before the volume got really low. I had to start 30 minutes later. A 5 hour wall charger with an AC adapter gave me 35 hours of use, then I couldn't pick up any FM radio signals BUT the AM signals were loud and clear for a further 3 hours 30 minutes before the volume dropped too low. (MAIN USE WAS NOT FM AM) A few months ago I broke my grip, I glued it back on and now I have to start a little slower. My timing measurements were taken after I glued it back on. Don't be too rough on it 8) One last thing, trying to listen at low volume can be a little tricky, the volume just ramps up fairly quickly, not evenly from the start, evenly after a certain level. Hear at night when it's very quiet. --------------------------------- from 26.04. /2018Radio crashes, becomes more static when trying to find a station on AM and FM. sometimes I hear the station in two different places, the tuner dies, I don't think it's the battery, it works for a long time. I tried to fix it, I made it worse! RIP DEAR ETON YOU SERVE ME WELL 8 (flashlight still works fine 8) I will order another one, love long life on my band, will try not to drop it again so often 8)
