The bracket looks strong enough, but the thickness of the rivet that attaches the tether to the hand strap (Photo 1) causes it to interfere with the mounting screw ( Photo 1) . 2). This interference does not allow the trap to fully open or retract correctly to its original position. It just needs a little cleaning, but my attempt to gently bend the locking tab outward caused it to separate from the locking guide as if the metal were brittle. While installation shouldn't be a problem, an improved design would prevent this problem entirely as long as customers place the mounting bolt a sufficient distance from the locking mechanism. I have contacted the seller regarding this issue and will update this review as needed once I receive a reply. The second problem was that the supplied TV mounting screws were too short to reach the internal threads on the TV.
