I originally bought this to lift my kayak but went the other way so it only sat in the garage for a few months before I decided to use it, to lift my fishing cart off the ground. When I went to install it, I found that I was missing one of the brackets that attach to the ceiling. I was concerned that I would have trouble getting the missing part due to the long time that had passed since I placed my order. After contacting Store Your Board, a replacement part was sent to me quickly and easily. The lift works great, is easy to install and the customer service is top notch. I would replace the anchor bolts with something stronger if I wanted to hang the kayak up, but other than that it's a great product and easy to set up and use.
