Balcar = Buff for less money

For the cost, it's a well made and easy to assemble stripbox. I was expecting the eggcrate to fall apart in my hands from reading the other reviews, but they must have improved it. I even tried to tear a small corner for future reference and was not able to do so with a moderate amount of force.A screw is missing on one of the speedrings. I have extras, so no a big deal.It would have been nice to have pockets for the poles the length of the box, but it works the way it is with just small pockets at the tips. Those were the hardest part of the installation, as they are very tight and the rod would not insert easily, but perhaps that's a good thing, as they are less likely to slip out.Tip: if you're buying for Paul C. Buff lights, buy the Balcar version instead of the one's listed for Buff - they're cheaper and exactly the same thing. They fit tightly for such a large box, but I don't see any sag or pulling away from the light on my Einsteins.
