Review on YOOHE Auto Body Paintless Removal by Ricardo Knight

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's a damn good kit for the money and at least you can get into the stadium!

I rarely write a review less than 24 hours after receiving and trying a product. But this one guarantees one. I purchased this kit to try to repair or reduce a shopping cart dent just above the rear fender of my 2011 Ford Fusion. It is in an area where there is a double weld and a hole would have to be drilled to get a tool to remove the dent from inside the fender or guess what, you would have to put the tool through insert a very small hole in the trunk. Everything can be done by a professional, no question, BUT. I decided to try it myself first and see what happens. I have to say that the adhesive technique works quite well. I had no issues with the glue ruining the paint or leaving traces of trauma when using both the jackhammer and the bridge (trying not to space the "stands" too far apart). The dent in question is MUCH BETTER than before. NOT perfect, but hey, in an inconspicuous place and you really have to look closely and/or know it was even there, it's barely noticeable. At less than $50, this kit just paid for itself! Next I'll be tackling my wife's van, where I'll try out some of the big dents and hard-to-reach spots. Using commercial rubbing alcohol and a smooth-edged spatula helped remove the adhesive. I had to make a few passes to get the dent out, but I'd rather loosen the adhesive part first than pull the metal too far. There's a hammer and some body tips to help with this. I might try this later after a few tutorials to smooth out even more what's left. But honestly, it's pretty darn good the way it is and there will be more parking. Recommended: Watch as many instructional videos as possible. Gives you an idea of how to use the tools, gives you advice and basically gives you a few different "views" on the methods.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • So so
