I did a lot of research before deciding to buy this ring light. I used to use them in my piano studio to record student performances and other products have not worked for me. When I installed this I was very impressed with the quality! It's amazingly bright and I love being able to change both the color temperature of the light and the brightness with the remote. The Bluetooth remote also works very well, which I've found to be flawed with other brands. My only complaint would be that I wish there was an indicator of what brightness and color settings are being used so I can duplicate the exact settings. The tripod is very stable and high enough that I can record while looking at the piano keys. The light is distributed very evenly, so there are no "hot" or "dark" spots on the images. One of my favorite features is being able to charge my phone while recording directly from the light via the USB port on the back. I also like that I can connect my camcorder as well as my phone. Many similarly priced products only allowed phone access. All in all I am very happy with this purchase! I highly recommend this product!
