OEM transfer case motors on S-10 Blazers have a design flaw that allows dirt and water to enter and eventually cause malfunctions. This prevents auto 4wd, 2wd, 4wd hi and 4wd low toggling. This part replaces the factory engine and also has a seal to prevent the same from happening again. It's easy to install and works great. Please Note: If you haven't replaced any of these yet, please read the included instructions before you begin. The engine is idling, so you must set the selector switch to neutral before removing and installing the old engine. If this is not possible, there is an alternative procedure.
