I wanted to test an old monitor with my M1 Mac desktop, it was a great and affordable way to try it. Works without problems, the old monitor has PCI and display ports. , tried both types of cables on my Mac and found no difference in quality. I haven't used it for a long time as it was just for fun, but I can say that it did what it was designed to do without any problems.
